ZANZIBAR INTERNATIONAL INVESTMENT FORUM.

The Forum participated in the International Investment Forum organized by the UNIDO, Nov. 5 - 8 1996.
Several MOU’S between Forum Members and Zanzibar Businessmen were signed. The Delegation was chaired by the then President Mr. Salim DIAB. The Forum hosted a high-ranking delegation from Zanzibar chaired by H.E. Mr. JUMAA, Minister of Planning, H.E. Mr. Khamis, Miniter of trade and Industry, which included 8 government officials and the representative of UNIDO IN Zanzibar. Also invited was Dr. Hachem Hussain, Investment Promotion officer in charge of UNIDO’S Investment Promotion office in Bahrain. The visit took place from June 24- 28, 1997.
